POONCH: Indian Army organised a lecture for Gujjar and Bakarwal at Village Seklu in Poonch District (J&K) which importance of education, aspect for caring for their livestock and saving of forests were highlighted to the local youth.The lecture was attended by 14 locals.Organising such programme by Indian Army in remote regions of Poonch District further strengthened the motto of “Jawan Aur AWAM, Aman Hai Muqam”.Such events will go long way in developing goodwill amongst local populace and lay the foundation of patriotic and integrated next generation of India. It will also contribute in the upliftment of society as a whole.
