BUDGAM, NOVEMBER 02: Commissioner Secretary, Public Grievances Department, Rehana Batul today visited Budgam district and participated in B2V4 celebrations here.The Commissioner Secretary, who is also the visiting officer of the district, held site inspections of various panchayats and also distributed approval letters for establishment of units among beneficiaries during the visit.The Commissioner Secretary also distributed recreational items, Land Passbooks, Baby Kits, Soil Health cards, Oilseed Mini kits among the beneficiaries.During the events, the visiting officer held interactive meetings with senior citizens, youth clubs and other locals of the area and listened to their demands and issues.While interacting with the locals, the Commissioner Secretary assured them that all of their genuine issues will be redressed on priority. She advised them to participate in B2V4 activities enthusiastically as it forms the core means for the development of their area.Locals attended the B2V4 programme with enthusiasm and attended distribution functions of approval letters for establishment of dairy, poultry and units under various schemes among beneficiaries at all panchayats.Later, the Commissioner Secretary inspected the stalls set up by various departments to display their products and generate awareness about welfare schemes among the general public.The visiting officer was accompanied by VC SDA, Haris Handoo; Special Secretary, Abdul Rashid Fayaz; Director Animal Husbandry, Purnima Mittal and other senior officers of the district administration.
