Crackdown on Bovine Smugglers. Another Big catch Of 50 Bovine Rescued
KishtwarJune 22,2021Continuing its drive against anti social elements, Kishtwar Police of PS Chatroo foiled huge bovine smuggling bid by rescued 50 bovines from katkhaie dhar area of Mughalmaidan.On a specific information SSP Kishtwar Mr Shafqat Hussain Batt-JKPS constituted a special team led by Insp Sandeep Parihar SHO PS Chatroo under the Supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs Sh. Devindar Singh laid naka at katkhaie dhar. Thereafter police party intercepted two persons identified as 1. Mir Hussain S/O Gh Gujjar R/O Gujjer basti Nagani Ghad Keshwan kishtwar 2. Ashiq Husain Butt S/O Gh Mohd Butt R/O Ahlan Gadol Tehsil Kokernag Distt.Anantnag. The accused persons taking the bovines towards Kashmir without any permission or any other documentation from concerned authority.Accordingly, a case FIR No. 37/2021 US 188/IPC, 11 PCA Act stands registered at PS Chatroo and investigation taken up.SSP Kishtwar Mr. Batt-JKPS warned all the antisocial elements to refrain from such activities otherwise stren action shall be taken against such elements as and when required.
