Srinagar , July 16: The early morning encounter in Danmar area of Srinagar ended with the killing of two local militants.Encounter started when forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation in Alamdar Colony, Danmar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday.As the forces during the searches rushed towards the suspected spot, the hidden militants opened fire on the forces which was retaliated , triggering an encounter.On its official Twitter Kashmir Zone Police said that 2 unidentified militants killed. Further details shall follow,”.As per the officials the encounter ensued in predawn hours after a joint team of Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Alamdar Colony.Although officially affiliation and identification of the slain militants wasn’t confirmed but according to the locals the slain militants are Irfan and Bilal from Natipora , Nowagam who had recently deserted TRF and announced as part of least known militant outfit Islamic State of Jammu Kashmir (ISJK).
