Budgam, 07Jan: To create momentum and enhance the pace of enrolment in the district a SVEEP Programme was today organized by the Dy. Distt. Election Officer, at Shiekh-ul-Alam Hall, Budgam.The awareness among the participants was chaired by the Dy. D.E.O. and attended by PRI Members, Anganwadi Workers, Asha Workers and general public.During the awareness programme the Sr.District Level Master Trainers Mir Firdous Ahmad and Dr. Zubair Ahmad delivered the lecture regarding importance of electoral registration and participation and shared the detailed schedule of the Revision timelines and important ways and means for the enrolment.The detailed description of the different prescribed forms viz. 2A,2B,2C and 2D was also shared with the participants through demonstration.The same forms were also circulated among the participants.The Dy. D.E.O. said in order to achieve 100% enrolment the said type of programmes will be conducted at Gram Pancha level, Block level and Assembly constituency level in which general public and eligible, left out voters shall be sensitized regarding electoral registration and participation. It was also decided that different stake holders will be taken on board so as to achieve the target that “No voter is left behind during the ongoing registration process”The Election Naib Tehsildar and Election Assistants of Election Cell also participated.
