DIPR Kathua organises Nukad Natak to sensitise college students about Govt’s online services

KATHUA, DECEMBER 17: To inform the students about the plethora of e-services of J&K UT government, Department of Information and Public Relations Kathua on Saturday organised Nukad Natak here in Government Degree College.College Principal, Sumnesh Singh Jasrotia was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The staff of the college and a large number of students witnessed the Nukkad Natak.The cultural troupe of DIPR Kathua comprising Ajit Pal Sharma and team presented Nukkad Natak on the theme ‘e-services; making governance accessible and easy’- explaining to the audience varied e-services launched by the government for the convenience of the general public.The troupe also threw light on array of services launched under Digital JK initiative wherein platforms like e-unnat and other user-friendly digital platforms have been launched to provide services to the public through electronic mode (internet).The services offered by different departments like provision for online Domicile certificate, income Certificate, Character Certificate, Birth and Death Certificate, land passbooks etc were explained by the troupes in vernacular languages.The Nukad team appealed to the students to avail the benefit of online services of the government and aware the people of their respective areas regarding the initiative of the government so that more people can utilize the e-services domain and save their valuable time and money.The team also cautioned students about cyber crimes and online frauds and advised them not to share details of their bank accounts, OTP or any other information to anyone asking for the same in the disguise of the Bank or other authorities.The artists also presented Dogri and Hindi songs which left the audience spellboundSpeaking on the occasion, the College Principal appreciated the efforts of the Information department for organising Nukad Natak on E services of the government. He asked the students to stay vigilant while accessing the internet and never share passwords or OTP with anyone.
