DLSA Budgam Conducts Meeting with Panel Lawyers,LADC

Srinagar 23 May : As part of Calendar of Activities of J&K Legal Services Authority, District Legal Services Authority Budgam under the insightful guidance of Chairman DLSA Budgam Khalil Ahmad Choudhary and under the supervision of Secretary DLSA Budgam Jahangir Ahmed Bakshi convened a highly productive meeting of dedicated PLV’s, group of Panel Lawyers and members of recently inaugurated Legal Aid Defense Counsel.According to CNS the meeting, held at Conference Hall of ADR Centre Budgam aimed foster collaboration and strengthening the delivery of legal aid and assistance to the community. During the meeting the participants engaged in discussions on various topics including the role of PLV’s in legal aid, functioning of Legal Aid Clinics, Legal Literacy Clubs, Front Offices, Videk Seva Kendra. The participants brought their knowledge and expertise to the table, offering invaluable insights that will contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of legal aid services.Chairman District Legal Services Authority Budgam affirmed the commitment of District Legal Services Authority of providing a conducive environment for legal professions and voluntaries to contribute their expertise and skills towards justice and inclusive society. By working together the legal community and PLV’s can make an efficient impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities.Secretary DLSA Budgam, Jahangir Ahmad Bakshi along with members of Panel Lawyers and Members of LADC joined hands with the passionate PLVS’s, demonstrating a shared commitment in ensuring speedy justice.The event facilitated an open exchange of ideas and experiences laying the foundation for a more efficient legal aid system. Recommending the significant role of panel lawyers and PLV’s in promoting access to justice, Secretary DLSA Budgam emphasized the importance of fostering strong partnership between legal profession and PLV’s to create a comprehensive support network for those in need.
