Kulgam,16-Feb; District Mineral Officer kulgam (DMO) Khurshid Ahmad has seized 04 vehicles used in illegal mining and transportation of raw materials from various areas of Kulgam district during the raids and recovered 2.80 lac rupees penalty from offenders. In yet another action during odd hours DMO kulgam seized four Dumpers involved in illegal transportation of minerals across the district. The officer acting tough against violators imposed and recovered 2.80 lac rupees from the offenders.On being contacted by CNS, the officer said that there are clear cut directions from Deputy Commissioner kulgam Dr Bilal Mohidin to impart zero tolerance against the illegal miners.
