Jammu, 25-Jan: A driver from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district was killed and two other people were injured after a truck and an oil tanker were hit by a boulder in Ramban district on Wednesday. As per official reports, the boulders rolled down at Magarkot area of the district, hitting a tanker (JK02BL-8177) and truck (JK18A- 6968).The driver of the truck identified as 21-year – old Muneeb Ahmad Hajam son of Abdul Rehman hajam of Berigam Devsar Kulgam died on the spot.The injured were identified as Gopal son of Bayant Lal of Peera Ramban and Rajinder Kumar son of Prem Singh of Batote Ramban. The official added that both of the injured were immediately evacuated to Sub district hospital Banihal. Meanwhile, Police has registered a case and further investigations set into motion.
