Handwara Aug 18: A 58-year-old man was injured after he was attacked by a bear in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday morning. Bashir Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Ramzan Mir, a resident of Dodipora village in Handwara, suffered face injuries when he was attacked by the bear in an orchard in his native village. Mir was rushed to district hospital Handwara for treatment. Meanwhile, team from wildlife department rushed to the spot to trace the wild bear, the official added.(CNS)
