Jammu,14-Nov: An Executive Engineer and an Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) were among three persons killed while a Superintending Engineer was critically injured after an official vehicle of R&B department they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Assar area of Doda district on Monday.As per reports, four officials of Road and Buildings (R&B) were onboard in a Bolero vehicle (Jk02-cc0701) when it skid off the road and plunged into the river Chenab near Assar around 10:30 a.m.Soon after a massive rescue operation, three persons including Exen, AEE and driver—died on the spot while superintending engineer Suresh Kumar was injured. The injured was evacuated to GMC Doda, where his condition is said to be critical.The deceased were identified as Mohammad Rafiq (XEN) PWD, a resident of Poonch, Kamal Keshor (AEE), a resident of jakhani Udhampur and driver Hafiz.
