Srinagar, 10-May : A massive fire broke out in the Jamia Masjid Noor-ul-Islam in Tral town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday morning.Reports to CNS said that fire broke out from the top of the roof following which fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.Locals, Police and fire tenders prevented the fire from spreading to nearby locality and controlled the fire.The cause of the fire is being ascertained.Meanwhile, on being contacted by CNS,SHO Tral, Abdul Rehman said that they have taken cognizance of the incident and investigations set into motion.”The initial reports suggest that the Cause of fire is short circuit”.
