Firing outside Army camp in Rajouri, two civilians killed

Srinagar,16-Dec; Two persons were killed and another injured in alleged firing by the army in Rajouri district of Jammu on Friday. However, the army said that the duo was shot dead by “unidentified militants”.As per reports, the incident took place around 6.15 am when the duo, working as porters with the army was approaching the Alpha gate of the army camp and they were fired upon.The officials said Shalinder Kumar and Kamal Kishore, both residents of Rajouri, died in the firing, while another person identified as Anil Kumar of Uttarakhand, was admitted to a hospital by the Army.Angry locals demanded strict action and adequate compensation for the family of the deceased.
