Srinagar, 04-Feb – The authorities in Srinagar have taken bold action to protect state resources by reclaiming state land that was illegally occupied. The Revenue Department of Srinagar led a demolition drive at the residence of Advocate Shabnum Ganie Lone, sister of Peoples Conference Leader Sajad Lone, and successfully retrieved state/Kacharai land under Khasra no 3557.This action by the government is part of their larger mission to bring down high-profile land grabbers and ensure that state land is used for the benefit of the public. The authorities have emphasized their commitment to protecting state resources and will not hesitate to take action against those who are found to be illegally occupying state land.In addition to this success, the administration also retrieved one Kanal of land from former DC Budgam and ex Director Information Farooq Renzu in Humhama Budgam. This demonstrates the government’s determination to protect state resources and serves as a warning to others who may be illegally occupying state land.
