Aug 10, KDC: Ten civilians were injured after suspected militants hurled a grenade towards security forces in Hari Singh High street near Amira Kadal area of Kashmir capital Srinagar on Tuesday afternoon.A senior police officer told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that militants lobbed a grenade on a vehicle of security forces in Hari Singh High Street, however it missed the target and exploded on the road.He said in this incident ten civilians received minor injuries who have been shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment.Reliable sources identified the injured persons as Zulikha wife of Mohammad Hafiz resident of Kargil, Abdul Gani Shah son of Abdul Ahad resident of Beerwah Budgam, Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Khumani Chowk TSO in Food, Apara wife of Ranjeet Beara resident of Kolkata at president Hari Singh High Street Srinagar, Tariq Ahmad son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Burzuhama, Suhail Ahmad Dar son of Farooq Ahmad Dar resident of Chadoora, Owais Ahmad son of Ghulam Mohd Laway resident of Chanpora, Gulzar Ahmed Ganie son of Ghulam Mohiudin resident of Bandipora at present Magarmal-Bagh Srinagar and Firdous Ahamd Kotta son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Bemina Srinagar.Police have registered a case in this regard and a massive manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
