Kulgam,27-Dec; Anaemia awareness camps were today organized by ICDS Projects Qazigund,Kulgam and DH Pora in collaboration with the Health Department here to screen and test anaemia among beneficiaries of ICDS.The events were held in the Anganwadi Centers of Chowgam, Qazigund, Bumthan,Qadair and Nandimarg During the event, the participants spoke on the beneficiaries of High Burden Districts, Identification of Severe Acute Malnutrition among Children and Distribution of Nutritious food, Medicines. During the event, screening of pregnant women, lactating mothers and 0m to 6yrs children was done for anaemia.(CNS)
