RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 02: As part of Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Drug Inspector Ramban, Imtiyaz Ahmed conducted intensive inspection of medical stores to check the sale and maintenance of records of psychotropic drugs in Ramban. Posters were pasted on medical shops to inform the common public regarding ill effects of drug addiction. The instructions were also given not to sell narcotic and psychotropic drugs without a valid prescription.The Chemists were asked to record phone numbers of patients purchasing Narcotic/Psychotropic drugs and maintain a separate register for this purpose.Further, directions were also issued to put the stamp of Chemists on the original prescription and keep photocopies for records.
