Srinagar, 22-May, CNS: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar , Ganderbal and Bandipora today celebrated “International Biodiversity Day”at District Court Srinagar, at Legal Literacy club, Faculty of Forestry -SKAUST-K Benhama Ganderbal and at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Mantrigam respectively.In Srinagar, Several Saplings were planted by Chairman District Legal Services Authority Jawad Ahmad,Gowhar Majeed Dalaal, S.C Katal ,Surinder Singh and Secretary DLSA Jehangir Ahmad Bakshi.Programme was organised by DLSA Srinagar in Collaboration with Forest Department Srinagar.Panel Lawyers, officials and Defense Counsel team of District Srinagar were also present on the occasion.In Ganderbal,the programme was held under the supervision of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal, Ritesh Kumar Dubey and under the guidance of Secretary District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal, Ms.Nusrat Ali Hakak.The “International Bio-Diversity Day” was observed with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of preserving and protecting our planet’s biological diversity.
