SAMBA, JULY 27: Financial Commissioner, Revenue Dr Pawan Kotwal today visited district samba and reviewed the functioning of revenue department here.
During the meeting, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Samba, Jitender Mishra; Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur, C P Kotwal, concerned Tehsildars besides other revenue staff and officials were also present.
Deputy Commissioner Samba Rohit Khajuria gave a detailed presentation on status of Jamabandis, commencing of online registration, progress under digitization of revenue records, status of E-Stamping besides other revenue issues.
The Deputy Commissioner said that more than 91% revenue records have been scanned/digitised in District samba and 200 villages have been covered under Jamabandis process.
Speaking on the occasion, Financial Commissioner Revenue directed revenue officers for early completion of writing Jamabandis and also assigned daily targets regarding digitisation for revenue field staff.
Dr Kotwal said that survey under Jamabandis be also taken up at the earliest.
He also stressed on online registration and E-Stamping process in the district.
FCR expressed his satisfaction and complimented the revenue officers Samba for their sustained efforts in transforming the revenue Dept into a technology driven Dept.
Later Financial Commissioner visited newly constructed office of Registrar and Sub Registrar in DC office Samba.
He also enquired about issues being faced by revenue staff including availability of vehicles, staff vacancy besides other aspects while assuring their early redressal.
