2 brothers drown in river Jhelum in north Kashmir

Baramulla, 28-Jan; Two brothers drowned while extracting stand in Jhelum river in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, reports said.They said the brothers—Hilal Ahmad Malla and Naseer Ahmad Malla hailing from Littarpira village of Bandipora district drowned this morning near Jetty at Khwaja Bagh and soon a rescue operation was launched to trace them out.A police officer confirmed the incident and said that efforts are underway to trace them out.(CNS)
