Srinagar: Kashmir valley reported fifth Covid-19 death on Thursday as 65 year old male from Kulgam died at SKIMS.
Medical Superintendent SKIMS Dr. Farooq Jan told JU that a 65 year old male from Kulgam was admitted in the hospital and was referred from on 23rd June from GMC anantnag in view of B/L CAP with ARDS.The patient was covid positive. The patient expired on in the afternoon, body was kept in mortuary and CMO kulgam was also informed.
Earlier in the day, a 73 year old woman from Batamaloo 75 year old male from Budgam died at SMHS hospital. Where as 55 year old male from Hatipora Kulgam and a 65 year old male from Sopore Baramulla died at SKIMS.
With five deaths, the death toll due to Covid-19 in UT has reached to 112 including 99 from Kashmir and 13 from Jammu division.
