CRPF 3rd Battalion Organizes Free Medical and Screening Camp at Chuntimulla and Zuban, SumlarLone Hamidulla Bandipora, June 16:As part of its Civic Action Programme, the 3rd Battalion of CRPF today organized a free medical and screening camp in the remote areas of Chuntimulla and Zuban in Sumlar, Bandipora district.The camps were formally inaugurated by a senior citizen of the village along with Second-in-Command (2IC) of the 3rd Battalion, Mr. Manoranjan Kumar. The initiative witnessed overwhelming participation, with a total of 440 patients (233 at Chuntimulla and 207 at Zuban), including school children and senior citizens, availing free medical services.Medical officers from both CRPF and the Health Department were present and conducted thorough health check-ups. These camps marked the 7th and 8th out of 15 planned medical outreach camps being held this year to provide essential healthcare in far-flung and underserved areas.On the occasion, 2IC Manoranjan Kumar briefed the attendees about the objectives and outcomes of these camps, highlighting CRPF’s dedication to community welfare and outreach.Local residents expressed heartfelt appreciation for the initiative and acknowledged the efforts of CRPF in addressing basic healthcare needs in their region.
