Kashmir; Admin sacks 6 employees for allegedly Militant links

Srinagar, 22- Sept: Government has ordered the termination of 6 government employees, for their alleged involvement in anti-national activities including working as overground workers (OGW’s) for the militants groups.Two constables, teachers, a senior officer of forest department and an employee in R&B department are among those sacked.Two of those removed from services are from Kishtwar district and one each belong to Anantnag, , Baramulla , Poonch and Budgam districts, the official sources confirmed to CNS.The government issued the order after a designated committee in J&K formed to scrutinize and recommend cases under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India recommended their removal from government service over militants links.Earlier this year, the government had sacked at least eleven of its employees over same of allegations. However, these employees were dismissed under Article 311 of the Indian Constitution under which no inquiry is held and dismissed employees can only approach a high court for relief.(CNS
