Nothing new in Azad’s Speech: G.A.Mir Says Azad trying to steal Congress agenda of restoration of Statehood, protection of land, jobs

Srinagar, 05-Sept; Former J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Monday said that Azad is trying to steal Congress agenda.Reacting to the Ghulam Nabi Azad’s Jammu speech, Ghulam Ahmad Mir said Congress Party has resolved to continue its fight for restoration of full Statehood, protection of Land and jobs to people of J&K while including these provisions in its core agenda.People of J&K have realized that it is the Congress Party alone which is fully capable of taking this fight to its logical end, Mir averred.Mir also referred to State Executive Committee meeting of J&K Pradesh Congress held in Jammu on 17th January 2020 in which the Party has resolved to fight for restoration of full Statehood with Constitutional Guarantees, protection of land, jobs.Azad cannot distort the facts, he is just trying to mislead people on restoration of Statehood etc, Mir added and reiterated that Congress Party under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will leave no stone unturned to  bring back full statehood to people of J&K with all constitutional guarantees including protection of land and jobs.Former JKPCC President expressed surprise over Azad’s speech terming it a blatant move to distort the facts.

While recalling the resolution of JKPCC adopted on 17 Jan 2020.The party while demanding Restoration of full Statehood status to Jammu & Kashmir, Adequate Legal and Constitutional guarantees to safeguard the rights of locals over land, jobs and admissions in professional courses in Jammu & Kashmir also called for Fulfillment of the promises of regularization of adhoc, contractual, daily wagers and other such categories of employees working in different departments for decades.(CNS)
