Srinagar, 11 July 2020.
Acting on the directions of SSP Srinagar, the efforts of Srinagar Police against the drug menace, PS Harwan arrested two (02) Drug peddlers and recovered around 4 kg of charas like substance from their possession.
Today a police party of PS Harwan, while on naka checking duty on Foreshore – Shalimar Link Road, apprehended two persons travelling in an Alto car bearing registration No. JK01P 6522. The persons were identified as:
1.) Mohd Ayoub Wani
S/o Mohd Sultan Wani
R/o Sumbal Bandipora
2.) Mohd Altaf Parra
S/0 Wali Mohd Parra
R/0 Sumbal Bandipora
On search, around four (04) kg of charas like substance were recovered from their possession.
In this connection, Case FIR No. 58/20 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Harwan and investigation has been set into motion.

Srinagar Police is committed to continue its offensive against the drug peddlers and will take all endeavours to make Srinagar drugs free.
