72 new positive cases; one death report in UT Ladakh; 87 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Oct 11: As per the media bulletin released on (10.10.2020) by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 72 person tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 67 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 05 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

With the death of one more Covid patient from Kargil district, the total Covid death of UT Ladakh has now reached to 64, out of which 26 deaths were from Leh district and 38 deaths were from Kargil district.

The bulletin further details that
UT Ladakh has discharged 87 patients yesterday. Out of which 54 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 33 patient was discharged by CMO Kargil.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has decreased to 1022; 785 in Leh district and 237 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further details that, out of 67 positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 14 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test, 01 positive sample was detected through True Nat, 42 positive sample reports were received from DIHAR Lab. Leh and 10 positive samples reports
were received from Covid Lab Chuchot.

While, all the 05 positive sample reports received by CMO Kargil were detected through Rapid AntigenTest.

Yesterday CMO Kargil sent 10 samples to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing.

The bulletin further informed that,152 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 84 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post on Friday.

Similarly, 264 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 167 trucks, tankers and light motorvehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check Post.

335 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday.
