72 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh;142 patients cured and discharged Leh, Jun 09: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 72 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 64 reports were reported in Leh and 8 in Kargil. While, a total of 3623 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1963 and Kargil: 1588 were found negative yesterday. No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 142 patients yesterday. Out of which 131 patients were discharged in Leh and 11 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 941; 776 in Leh and 165 in Kargil district. The bulletin further informs that 549 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 185 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 161 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
