Leh, Feb 09: A total of 75 healthcare workers was inoculated against Covid-19 in Leh and Kargil districts today. 27 healthcare workers were given Covid-19 jabs at Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC), Bogdang. 29 healthcare workers were inoculated against Covid-19 at Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC), Turtuk where the head pharmacist, Mohammad Abdullah, received the first jab of Covid-19 vaccine.
Similarly, Covid-19 vaccination drive was also held at Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC), Panikhar in Kargil district where 19 healthcare workers were vaccinated.
As per the data provided by the Office of the State Immunisation Officer Ladakh, a total of 2,436 healthcare workers has been vaccinated to date out of which 1,436 healthcare workers are from Leh and 1,000 from Kargil district.
