Leh, 13 Nov:- The Executive Councillor for Minority Affairs and Forest Ghulam Mehdi today convened a meeting of Divisional Soil Conservation Officer Leh Tundup Dorjey in his office chamber and reviewed the utility of already completed projects under Soil Conservation and progress of ongoing projects under Capex Budget 2020-21 in the district.
EC Mehdi directed Divisional Soil Conservation Officer Leh Tundup Dorjey to complete survey of new works at the earliest and also directed him to ensure timely completion and quality of all the projects.
EC Mehdi was apprised that as compared to last year’s Capex Budget of ₹ 40 lacs, this year’s capex budget approved ₹ 1.72 crore for Soil Conservation Dept which is four times more than the last year budget.
