Leh, October28: In order to review the physical progress of the work of synthetic track of International level and Astro Turf Football work, The Administrative Secretary UT Ladakh, Ravinder Kumar visited the spot for Monitoring and Inspection at Open Stadium, Spituk, Leh.

Administrative Secretary was accompanied by Chief Engineer CPWD Leh, Superintending Engineer, PWD (In charge Chief Engineer, Leh) with their teams, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tehsildar, Leh, Under Secretary Department of Youth Services and Sports, UT Ladakh and District Youth Services and Sports officer, Leh.

Keeping in view the force majeure conditions because of ensuing winters the Administrative Secretary gave on spot directions to the concerned officers to expedite the progress of work and emphasized that the work shall be executed in a time bound manner on war footing basis.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh was directed to conduct demarcation for the construction of boundary wall. Chief Engineer, CPWD, Leh was directed to make revised plan for new sports facilities and Superintending Engineer, PWD (In charge Chief Engineer, Leh) was directed to make urgent arrangements as directed by Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor UT Ladakh during inaugural function, to construct changing rooms/washrooms for boys and girls.

The Public works Department was further directed to make sure that all sanctioned works are started well in time, so that the state of the art sports facilities are being provided to the youth of UT Ladakh.
