Srinagar,21-Feb; Wildlife Department on Tuesday captured a leopard in Bagandar Lasjan area of Srinagar outskirts.Locals said that the leopard was seen roaming in the area during pre-dawn hours when they were on their way to the Masjid to offer morning prayers.Officials of wildlife department said that they received information from locals that a leopard had been spotted in the area following which they immediately sent teams to capture it.They added that the team launched a search operation and set up a trap in the area after some local residents complained that the leopard was roaming freely and there was apprehension of it attacking humans and livestock
