Srinagar, 26- Mar: Mendicant who practice sorcery deceived a family in Central Kashmir’s Budgam village and deprived them of all hard earned money.Sources told ,that a beggar came to the residential house of Abdul Rashid Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, a resident of Ichgam Budgam and requested for tea from the family members.While providing tea on humanitarian grounds, the mendicant as per family started asking different questions including the wellbeing of our daughter who remains unwell.“He later started asking about gold and money and with the help of magic he managed to loot our whole cash and gold”, they alleged.Locals in the area have urged district administration and police to investigate the matter and book the involved person so that such incidents won’t happen in future.“They target those houses where only females are present and are expert in convincing people that they double whatever money they have in their house”, locals added.Meanwhile, affected family has appealed people not to believe these mendicants and get them arrested without giving a second thought.(CNS)
