Gurez, :Indian army with the students of Niru tulail celebrated National science day at Niru with own strength of 01-02-03 and an attendance of 1 teacher and 26 children from classes 1-8.Combining science teaching with fun experiments has been a time tested method to pique the curiousity of young children. The children were demonstrated science experiments explaining density, buoyancy, static electricity, combustion principles etc with materials found at home like balloons, glasses, paper and water. The children showed infectious enthusiasm to replicate the experiments and necessary material has been provided to the teams. The event has been an overall success and appreciated by the faculty as an excellent approach to increase the scientific acumen of the children
