NIA conducts raids at several locations in J&K in terror funding case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting raids at several locations across Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a terror funding case.The searches, assisted by J&K Police and CRPF, are being conducted in several J&K districts including Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Anantnag, Budgam, Rajouri, Doda, and Shopian.The residence of a member of Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI), Gul Mohammad War is being raided.Last month, the probe agency had conducted raids at multiple locations across Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a terror funding case and arrested five people for their alleged link with the terror outfit ISIS.The raids were carried out a day after the Jammu and Kashmir administration sacked 11 of its employees, including sons of Hizbul Mujahideen chief and one of the most wanted terrorists Syed Salahuddin, for allegedly working as over ground workers for terrorist organisations.The NIA on Wednesday morning conducted searches at several locations in Jammu and Kashmir and Karnataka as part of its investigation into the Kerala ISIS module case.In Jammu and Kashmir, the raids were conducted at three locations, including the residence of a hardware store salesman in Bandipora.”NIA conducted raids at three locations in Jammu and Kashmir, including the residence of a hardware store salesman in Bandipora.
