SRINAGAR, Apr 13: Adil Qayoom, a well-known social activist and youth leader from Shopian, has joined the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) in the presence of party chairman DPAP, Ghulam Nabi Azad today.The event was held in Srinagar and witnessed the participation of several eminent personalities, including president Central Zone Bilal A Peer, District president Shopian Mushtaq Khanday, Additional spokesman Waseem Yaqub, Shabnam Shafeeq, Javaid Hakeem, Mansoor Magray and many others.Azad stated that Adil Qayoom’s decision to join the party is a significant boost to the DPAP’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the region. He added that Adil Qayoom has been actively working for the betterment of the society and has played a crucial role in raising issues related to the youth, education and social welfare.Expressing his delight over joining the DPAP, Adil Qayoom said that he was impressed by the party’s vision and commitment to the welfare of the people. He said DPAP under the leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad, will work tirelessly to address the challenges faced by the people of the state.Azad welcomed Adil Qayoom into the party fold and stated that his experience and expertise would be valuable asset for the DPAP. He also highlighted the party’s focus on youth empowerment and expressed confidence that Qayoom’s presence would further strengthen the party’s resolve to work towards the betterment of the youth.Provincial president of Kashmir, Mohammad Amin Bhat congratulated Qayoom on joining the DPAP and stated that his decision to join the party would help in expanding its reach and impact in the valley.
