Pulwama,06-Dec; Transfer policy in the department of PHE Pulwama division is being mocked as the department issued transfer list of few of the employees. However, the policy is not being implemented resulting in various apprehensions.According to the sources, PHE (Jal Shakti) department issued a list of transfers two weeks ago, according to which draftsman Javed Ahmed, who has been working in the division for five years, was transferred.They added that two employees in the office were transferred however the draftsman is still in his chair as the executive engineer posted in the division has not yet transferred the said draftsman to his posting.The sources expressed concern in this regard and said that not transferring the said Draftsman is giving rise to some questions.Meanwhile, Executive Engineer PHE Division Pulwama, Javed Ahmed Lone told CNS that the two employees posted in the division are supposed to get promoted as junior engineers after 20 days.“I will inform the chief engineer about this as transfer of draftsman will cause problems in the official works”, he added.In PHE Division, Pulwama, there have been revelations of mishandling of government works, during which one JE has fraudulently prepared two bills and tried to defraud the government exchequer of lakhs of rupees, while another JE in Sarnoo Pulwama in the name of two works, filed bills in the office to withdraw more than 3 lakh rupees.
