Srinagar 30Aug; Under the banner of J&K Handicapped Association today, physically challenged people protested against JKSSRB under chairmanship of state president Abdul Rashid Bhat “said JKSSRB has been giving troubles to aspirants with disabilities.The job aspirants who emerged here in Press Enclave Srinagar said that they have qualified Class IV exams but they are yet to be short listed despite selection of all other categories have been finalized.Government had removed all the legal obstacles in the way of the recruitment process so there should be no hindrance in publishing the selection list.“’We have been left high and dry and is worth annoying that SSRB hasn’t succeeded in keeping pace with the time”, one of the aspirant said The protesters further said that by delaying the list the career of hundreds youth is at stake that are anxiously waiting for the same for the last four years and some of them are at the verge of over age also.The youth said they are willing to serve in the Valley against odd circumstances.The protesters reiterating their appeal to Lieutenant Governor, urging him to issue instructions to Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) to publish the selection list of these candidates at an earliest.(CNS)
