OCT 27:By the order of Zonal Police Head Quarter kashmir, in respect of District Ganderbal 68 SGCTs were promoted to Head Constables, among them 20 were pipped up to the new rank. In order to Pip up their new rank an impressive ceremonial function was organised at District Police Office, Ganderbal and SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS hosted the ceremonial function. SSP Ganderbal, Additional SP Ganderbal and DySP HQRs decorated newly promoted SGCTs to the rank of Head Constables. All the newly promoted officials expressed their gratitude towards Police department for conferring the rank of Head Constables and timely up gradation. On the occasion, SSP Ganderbal congratulated the promotees, directed them to remain committed for Police Department and ensure better public service. He also expressed hope that the officials will work with same zeal and dedication in new ranks as well.
