Baramulla.CNS,17-Dec: Stamp Vendor’s and agents are openly looting senior citizens and other Persons by overcharging them for simple legal documents in Pattan area of Baramulla district.As per reports to CNS, few Stamp Vendors and agents in and out Side Tehsil office Pattan are looting general public by demanding Rs 150, 250,250 &400 against an affidavit and 200 for Signature by Executive Magistrate.While waiting for their documents few of the citizens complained that these agents are demanding money as per their own choice.While waiting outside court complex Pattan, 89-Years old Lady from Mundyari area alleged that one agent out Side Court Complex has demanded four Hundred for a Simple affidavit.Meanwhile, Tehsildar Pattan Saqib Murtaza (KAS) has assured that strict action will be taken against those agents. “General public is requested to approach my office in case they are being over-charged”, he added.
