GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 07: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah today reviewed the final arrangements for the ensuing auspicious day of Shab-e-Meraj and Friday following Shab-e-Meraj at V.C Room, here.At the outset, detailed discussion was held regarding various arrangements including electricity, Water Supply, cleanliness, fire service, transport, medical aid and other related arrangements for smooth celebration of Mehraj–un-Nabi (SAW) all over the district.The ADC on the occasion sought a detailed report from concerned officers regarding the arrangements of electricity, water supply, cleanliness, fire service, transport and medical aid.He directed the PDD to ensure uninterrupted power supply during these days at all shrines/ mosques in the district.Regarding the availability of water supply, the Jal Shakti department was asked to take adequate measures for uninterrupted water supply and ensure availability of water tankers at these places.The Assistant Director FCS&CA informed the meeting that all the essential commodities including LPG cylinders have been ensured in buffer quantity available in the district.
