Shopian ,28-Dec : A meeting of Shopian Working Journalists Association was held on Wednesday in south Kashmir’s Shopian district. According to a press release issued to the meeting was attended by many journalists working with different regional and national organisations. The members, as per the press release, deliberated upon a whole host of the issues confronting the journalistic fraternity of the district. During the meeting , the scribes stressed the need of coming together to safeguard the interests of journalists and uphold the highest journalistic ethics. Prominent among others who participated in the meeting included, Jan Nisar Ahmad, Ashraf Hamad, Shabir Shah, Rashid Hassan and Gulzar Bhat.
