Staff shortage hits patient care at PHC Dadsara

Tral,06-Mar; The Primary Health Centre (24×7) in Dadasara village of Tral, which is equipped with all other facilities, is lacking staff members, due to which people are facing hardships.As per the residents, Dr. Ambreena (L.A.S.) was transferred from PHC Dadasara to S.R. Gunj Srinagar while Dr. Ab Qayoom from PHC S.R.Gunj was to be replaced for the post however he failed to join here, due to reasons better known to concerned authorities only.Moreover, Dr. Zaffar Iqbal from PHC Dadasara is working at SDH Tral at present in USG Section & Dr. Aijaz Bashir (M.O. NHM) from PHC Dadasara is working at PHC Aripal at present.Sources told CNS that only two Doctors are presently posted at PHC Dadasara, out of which, one is Dental Surgeon and another is ISM (Unani) Doctor.They said that no Assistant Surgeon is available this time at PHC Dadasara, due to which locals have to face hardships.Sources revealed that machineries like USG, X-ray and Health Educator are put in place at PHC, but no technician is available to operate them, while Ambulance which belongs to the PHC is stationed at SDH Tral, which is the matter of grave concern.Talking to the CNS, General Secretary, Auqaf Committee Dadasara, Master Nazir Ahmad has expressed concern over the unavailability of doctors and technicians in the hospital and said that Doctors posted here shouldn’t have been placed in other hospitals.
