Srinagar, 04-Feb: Amid the ongoing anti-encroachment drive across the Union Territory, Democratic Azad Party (DAP) Chairman and former J&K chief minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad on Saturday said that those who have grabbed a huge chunk of land must not be spared and those having possession of few marlas of state land shouldn’t be touched.While addressing a press conference, Ghulam Nabi Azad, said that those having possession of few marlas of state land shouldn’t be touched, however who grabbed vast amount of land shouldn’t be spared.While welcoming the statement of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, he asked his party workers to end their agitation as LG has assured that poor will not be touched.”It will be my humble appeal to Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor J&K Manoj Sinha to intervene into the matter as lot of chaos exist on ground amidst ongoing eviction drive. It seems there is lot of communication gap. The orders come either from Chief Secretary’s office, DCs or LG.
