Srinagar, 11 Jan: A 20- year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday morning.As per reports to CNS, boy (name withheld) a resident of Khanipora Utrasoo Anantnag hanged himself to death at his home.Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard and investigations set into motion.(CNS)Man arrested with narcotics in KarnahKupwara, CNS,11-Jan; In its continuous efforts to tighten the noose against drug peddlers in the district, Kupwara Police has arrested another narcotics smuggler from Hajitra area of Karnah and recovered narcotics from him.In a statement issued, Police spokesman said that during the preceding night, acting upon specific information regarding presence of narcotics in the possession of one Fareed Ahmad Sheikh son of Ab Rehman Sheikh a resident of Hajitra Taad, a search was conducted in the house of Fareed in the presence of Executive Magistrate Ist class Tangdhar.
