JAMMU, JANUARY 31: Traffic police today hosted an awareness cum Sensitization programme on road safety and traffic rules here in Balgran Channi Rama.The awareness event was held under the supervision of Raj Paul Singh, SP Traffic City Jammu. Bikram Kumar, Dy SP Traffic City South and Inspector, Rakesh Kumar DTI Satwari made the participants aware about the Traffic Rules and Regulations.During the sensitization drive, more than 70 students/children were taught to follow Traffic Rules and further asked to spread this message to ensure safety while moving on roads. The aim of the drive was to educate/familiarize the students among other participants regarding Traffic violations.An on spot awareness and visible Traffic violation check was given to the students present at the spot by using Interceptor Vehicle, Traffic Rider Bike etc. All the children participated in the drive were given on ground education to follow Traffic Signal Lights, Zebra Crossing, Stop Line. The children showed a positive response towards the awareness drive and expected more in near future.
