Sopore , July 14: A 22-year-old youth has gone missing from his home in Sopore area of Baramulla district, while his family has begged him to come back and appealed to the general public and police to help them in tracing him.
The youth, identified as Tanveer Ahmad Waza, son of Abdul Rasheed Waza, a resident of Kushaal Matoo village of Sopore area went missing last week.Tanveer’s family said that soon after he left home, they tried to contact him but his phone was switched off. “We called our relatives and his friends but couldn’t find him anywhere,” they said while appealing to his son to return home.After failing to trace him for a week, the family has now filed a missing report in Police Station Sopore.Meanwhile, police officials said that the family has lodged a missing report and an investigation into the matter has been initiated.
