Srinagar, 12-Jan:Kupwara youth have been representing J&K in various State and National level sports events. One such unique sport is Wushu, a form of mixed martial arts of Chinese origin.Two talented youth of Kupwara Town Master Imran Waris and Master Nazir Sheikh are undergoing rigorous training to participate in the State Level Wushu Competition.Upholding the spirit of sportsmanship, Indian Army has also sponsored the talented teenagers to train hard with latest world class equipment and sports gear. Both the Boys were motivated and boosted by providing Rs 7500/- each to keep themselves great spirits to perform better and achieve new heights of success in the sport.
