Kathua; 20 Jan:- In a decisive legal action against absconding for a long time. Kathua Police under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* , attached an immovable property of Absconder namely Bhushan Kumar S/o Punno Ram R/o Hadat Tehsil Mahanpur District Kathua in compliance with the directions of the Hon’ble Court.The attachment has been effected in connection with case FIR No. 68/2019 U/S 380/511/RPC got registered at Police Station Billawar. The attached property includes 04 kanal 17 Marla of land (worth Lakhs) belonging to the accused namely *Bhushan Kumar S/O Punno Ram R/O Hadat Tehsil Mahanpur Distt.Kathua* who is absconding for a long time in the said case. Owing to his continued evasion of the legal process, the accused was declared a Proclaimed Offender by the Hon’ble Court of ASMM Billawar. Despite sustained efforts by Kathua Police to secure his arrest, he remained beyond the reach of law, compelling the Hon’ble Court to order attachment of his immovable property. Acting upon these directions, the attachment was executed by Kathua Police led by *SHO Billawar Insp Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SP Ops Upper Kathua Sh Aamir Iqbal and SDPO Billawar Sh Neeraj Padyar* in close coordination with the Revenue Department, after following all due legal procedures, verification, and documentation.This action forms part of a broader and sustained strategy to dismantle the absconding accused persons and will demoralize the fugitives in future.District Police Kathua will continue to work with the same dedication and diligence and will be apprehended all the remaining absconders and take appropriate action against those involved.
