Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr. Bilal Mohiud Din Bhat (IAS) has extended his warm greetings to the people of Anantnag and Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi.
In his message, the Deputy Commissioner noted that the festival of Baisakhi symbolizes prosperity, happiness, and our rich cultural heritage. He said the occasion reflects a spirit of unity and hope, inspiring citizens to contribute for progress and communal harmony.
“Baisakhi is not just a harvest festival; it is a celebration of our shared values and the bond of brotherhood that defines our society,” Dr. Bilal remarked.
DC also offered prayers for progress and overall prosperity of the UT particularly the farming community and hoped the festival will bring a season of abundance and joy for them.
