Gazanfar khurshid Chadoora ,30 Dec : Local residents and Shopkeepers of main chowk Chadoora are up in arms against the Chadoora Municipal committee for dumping heaps of garbage near tehsil office chadoora and have demanded the shifting of site from the marketplace near tehsil office.The shopkeepers said that the garbage heaps not only look ugly and emanate stench but also have been a breeding ground for the dogs.”Every day the garbage collected from main chowk and the adjoining areas is dumped on the main road near tehsil office from where it’s taken for disposal’, they alleged.Local residents & shopkeepers told CNS correspondent “We fail to understand why CMC dumps the garbage in the main market as it has affected business and they are finding it hard to even sit at their own shops due to the stench.They have requested DC Budgam, SDM Chadoora and Executive Officer Chadoora Municipal Committee to pay immediate attention to this matter and resolve their issue at an earliest.(CNS)
